Rock, pop and a little of this and that. J. Leigh Stone, originally out of New York City, has performed all over the world: from Australia to London. She's had other record her music as well. She is proud to boast both a 400 original song library almost as much as she likes to tell people how she learned to play right handed guitars upside down! What you hear on this album is a culmination of her early life in music mixed with some instrumentation she never even thought about till producer Chris Purdum brought it to mind (We Are Not The Enemy was a folk song about those less fortunate. Chris and J. Leigh helped make it a rock song about the loss of ourselves within that context) A great first album for anyone wanting to find out more about J. Leigh.
